MADoPA is an expert center of technologies and services to enable a supportive, autonomous community living among the elderly. MADoPA aims to be a resource center in terms of innovation, evaluation, training, and expertise to facilitate the development of technologies and services that contribute to supportive, autonomous living. MADoPA develops activities in four domains: Research and Innovation, Evaluation, Training, and Expertise.

Role in the Frail Project

Together with Cap Digital, MADoPA plays a role in the non-technical activities of the project. MADoPA is leading the multicenter pilot study focused on the LOLA app validation in fall detection and fall-risk assessment. The study aims to monitor up to 300 frail seniors with a high risk of falling, using wearable sensors.
